BBB has been informed that consumers have received phone calls from a phone number located in Redding, CA posing as The Tax Group LLC that is not the businesses phone number (530) 777-8269). The business has informed BBB that they have no affiliation with any other phone numbers located in the Redding or the Los Angeles area. Businesses are often the unintended victims of scams, many of these scams involve the “spoofing” of a legitimate business’s identity and reputation to entice victims.
