On June 8, 2021, Susan H. Poon was found guilty by the Department of Justice. The verdict settles allegations that Ms. Poon defrauded health insurers by fraudulently submitting and billing chiropractic services never provided. Under terms of the verdict, Ms. Poon could face a statutory maximum sentence of 67 years in federal prison.
