On February 19, 2019 the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) filed accusation (case no. 77/16-17596) against FMC Automotive Services and owner Fabio Menjivar.
The accusation stems from allegations that customers were being charged for unnecessary repairs or repairs that were never performed. According to the accusation, FMC Automotive did work improperly or that wasn’t required, failed to do required work and charged for services and parts that weren’t required or needed.
On March 5, 2020, the license issued to FMC Automotive Services was revoked. In addition the owner will be required to pay investigation and enforcement cost in the amount of $32,272.37.
