Customer Complaint
We've received a number of complaints containing a pattern of allegations that the company offers payday advance loans for which they require advance payment of hundreds of dollars.
Customers report that they provided personal financial information, including bank routing and social security numbers, to one or more websites while attempting to secure a loan. After applying, they receive telephone calls instructing them that they are eligible for loans of up to $2,000, but a processing fee of some $200 is required. Advance fees are required by wire transfer or pre-paid money cards.
Typically customers state they receive a second telephone call then advising of approval but an additional payment is required for taxes or insurance. One customer reported sending 6 wire transfers and another claimed losses of $1,000.
As of September 21, 2012, no consumers who contacted the BBB have received a loan despite paying any fees. Reportedly, questions about the status of loans or requests for refunds are met with rude service, call terminations, or no response.
