With increasing frequency, consumers that have sent money to the company contact the BBB to report that Great West Funding is now soliciting them for additional funds. The company's representatives tell consumers that the sale of their timeshare interest will not be completed unless they submit additional money.
Customer Complaint
The BBB has numerous pending complaints against Great West Funding that were filed since the beginning of 2012. A very small fraction of the complaints have closed because the BBB has experienced difficulty in contacting the company. Since mid-April 2012 the post office has returned mail sent to Great West Funding at the address the company provided. The BBB has learned that the company's business office on East Washington Street in Phoenix has been vacated and no forwarding contact information is available. The telephone numbers provided to BBB by the company have been disconnected as of mid-April 2012.
