This company offers transportation for acutely ill children and expectant mothers. Their stated mission is "to transport children and expectant mothers, with little or no means of transportation, to needed medical care." Children between the ages of newborn and 18 years of age are eligible. A parent or legal guardian must accompany the child being transported. KID ONE Transport System is free of charge to families and agencies. Children are referred by existing non-profit agencies that work with low-income families.
