In August 2021, BBB investigated Agent Listing Campaign, a digital marketing and lead generation business, following a consumer complaint submitted to BBB alleging the business was operating in bad faith. The complainant detailed that following a $2000+tax payment made to the business, no services were rendered and the business has been unresponsive to attempted methods of communication.

BBB performed a search for business registration and incorporation; no results were produced when searching Agent Listing Campaign or Agent Listing Campaign Inc. as indicated on the Privacy Policy page of the website. A NUANS search was performed resulting in information that Agent Listing Campaign is available for registration.

BBB conducted a search for domain details for www.agentlistingcampaign.com via WHOIS. The results of this search revealed the domain was created on 2018-03-23 and updated 2021-04-04 with registrant information privacy protected. In reviewing the business website, BBB observed multiple client testimonials displayed, which supported the business and its services. BBB touched base with one of the realtors whose testimonial was used. The realtor indicated that she had never written the testimonial and had never used the services of Agent Listing Campaign. Concerned that her name and brokerage was listed on the testimonial, she inquired what steps could be taken to clear her name as she did not want a fabricated testimonial associated with her name.

Further findings of the investigation are the discovery that the blog content on the website published by one Julia J Turner, had been copied word for word from blogs posted on Zoocasa.com. Aside from the name of the author and date published, the blog text content, format, and images were all the same.

The complainant, as mentioned above, supplied BBB with a copy of the service agreement. On the document, the operating address listed of 251 Laurier Ave W #20 Ottawa, ON is different than that listed on the website- 261 Laurier Ave W, Ottawa, ON. BBB contacted the realty group responsible for lease opportunities at 251 Laurier Ave W to inquire whether Agent Listing Campaign was a tenant of the building. The representative advised BBB that Agent Listing Campaign is not a tenant leasing office space at the indicated address. BBB additionally verified if the business could be located at 251 Laurier Ave W, and our efforts concluded that the store front at said address is vacant.

Agent Listing Campaign has been unresponsive to BBB's communications regarding the consumer complaint, a letter requesting clarification on some key findings of the investigation, and unresponsive to a BBB Standard Business Questionnaire, which is sent to gather information and business details.

Due to a lack of response from Agent Listing Campaign, BBB is unable to discuss the above mentioned findings with the business and confirm the business's legitimacy.

BBB highly recommends for consumers to do their research prior to committing and sending payment to a business and releasing any personal information. Additionally, we strongly urge the use of caution when considering doing business with a company with an unknown location of operation.
