On September 5th, 2020 BBB Serving the Atlantic Provinces sent a letter to Able Appliance Works to the mailing address indicated on the business website; https://www.ableappliance.ca/

 
Receiving no response, BBB sent a second letter on Oct 25th.

When this letter was returned as undeliverable, BBB then sent the letters to the email address indicated on the business website.
The email was returned by the server as access denied.

The letters were prompted by a recent complaint to which BBB received no response, as well as several reviews of the business submitted by customers.

The complaint and reviews described similar experiences with the business.

Consumers report:
> Overall poor service and lack of appropriate knowledge in conducting the repairs.
>Very brief service calls, appliances subsequently still not working, and the business failing to return for follow up servicing.
>Failure of the business to provide itemized invoices after repeated requests
